We are raising money to give kids like Myles & Olivia the best chance to succeed

Thanks to an anonymous Hope supporter, until December 31, your tax-deductible gift will be DOUBLED to help twice as many parents and caregivers learn the necessary tools and intervention strategies that will maximize their child's development.

My name is Cherish. I’m a wife and mother of three beautiful children. My involvement with Hope Services goes back to when my son Myles was referred at 8 months old with a diagnosis of Down Syndrome. It wasn’t until a few years later that my connection with Hope Services grew and led me on a journey I never expected.

When I was pregnant with our daughter Olivia, we found out she also had Down Syndrome. Having one child with Down Syndrome changes everything, but nothing could have prepared us for two. Thankfully, Hope’s Children’s Services (Homestart) was there for our family every step of the way. Myles is now thriving in early start pre-school and Olivia continues to make incredible progress scoring ahead of the curve in her development.

If you’re anything like our family, these past few years have been one of constant upheaval and uncertainty. Every aspect of our lives – health, school, work, travel – was upended. We’ve all had to compromise, sacrifice and learn to deal with the unknown. That’s why my family is so grateful one thing has remained the same amidst the chaos: the expectational, above-and beyond care offered by Hope Services. This organization is a true beacon of light in our community – and indeed across Northern California.

By working together we can help Hope Services provide the best care possible to clients like my children across the organization, as well as pioneer bold new approaches to this community of those with developmental disabilities and mental health needs.

Your gift today will have TWICE the impact on the lives of families like mine if received by December 31, up to $32,500. That means your year-end gift of $100 will DOUBLE to $200, a donation of $250 will become $500, and an especially generous gift of $2,500 will become $5,000.

I hope this is a very special holiday season for you and your loved ones. I know it will be for me.

This year more than ever, I’m so grateful to have my husband Miguel and our children healthy by my side. You have played a key role in this through your support of Hope Services, and I can’t thank you enough.

With so much gratitude,

Cherish Hernandez, Grateful Parent
